FAQs

How do I find courses and book?

After browsing through our courses and workshops, choose your preferred option. By navigating to the booking page you will be asked to pay a 30% refundable deposit to reserve your place. Full payment is made after you receive a
final confirmation email from us no later than 60 days before your course starts. Check our refund policy.

 

Need more information on your booking?

Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a personilised email with all the useful details you need to know for your booking.

Accomodation & Meals

We offer a variety of workshops and courses, some of them are offered all inclusive.

If you book an all inclusive workshop you will be staying at The Grapevine House

If you book any of our other courses, accommodation is not include and we will offer suitable options for your stay, which you are free to consider or not.

Car rental, moppet and bicycle rental are available, suggested if you would like to explore on your own.

 

Food allergies/dietary requirements

Please let us know as soon as possible and we will accommodate as best as we can.

 

Are your workshops wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, they are not.

 

Can I bring my partner?

Participants can bring a non- participating partner for an additional lodging cost. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can arrange it for you.

 

What should I bring?

Cloths for painting or clay both for the studio and the field. We may need to walk and carry materials on some days. Spring and Autumn the weather is usually very pleasant, for walks and swims, with the evenings being a little cooler. So trekking shoes, swim gear, jumper or footer, studio cloths.

Materials

Our studio provides many basic materials like studio easels, tables and chairs and a small selection of paints. We encourage you to either bring your own materials or use the local shop for basic supplies. 

Naturally, if you’re not an EU resident, you will need a valid passport.

 

How does Aegina Retreats chose its instructors?

All our teachers are active crafters who are willing to share their experience after yeas of crafting. The group is international and constantly evolving as we are about sharing and collaborating.

 

How big is each workshop?

Our workshops are never larger than 12 people. We also offer solo and small groups workshops for those who wish to concentrate in their own privacy.

 

Do I need to speak Greek?

No absolutely not. Most of our workshops are in English, some in French, Dutch or Swedish.

We speak English, Greek, French, Portuguese.

Will I have a chance to see Aegina?

There will be plenty of time for you to explore the island as you wish. We often offer a day trip to two of our favorite locations on the island, The Aphaia temple and Palaiochora, plus a lot of tips on how to enjoy local food and way of life.

 

What is included in my package?

In Aegina Retreats we offer different packages.

You can either book a course or a workshop and find your own accommodation or you can book an all inclusive retreat offered at The Grapevine House.

Who is my point of contact?

Your welcome packet will include the phone numbers of our studio, teacher and coordinator of your course. We will be available to assist you all the way with anything you might need help with, Just reach out to us at info@thecoolprojects.com

Payment Options

Payment is made securely online through credit or debit card or paypal by paying a deposit of 30% and the rest will be invoiced to you, upon final confirmation of the course which is always 60 days before the start of the course.

We provide full refund for cancelations 60 days before the course and 50% refund for cancelations within 60 days from the start of the course.

We also provide the ability to reschedule your course.
