Welcome to Aegina Retreats

At Aegina Retreats we curate workshops dedicated to creativity through Arts & Crafts, designed to offer an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary, and often repetitive rhythm of daily life.

Our focus is on fostering a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle while igniting creativity and encouraging collaborative sharing. Whether opting for weekly or weekend workshops, retreats or long-term courses, participants can expect an enriching journey that will explore various artistic realms.

Accommodation is available exclusively for Retreat courses, catering to those who prefer solo or small-group travel/work experiences.

Our evolving workshops include Ceramics, Crafts, Painting, Writing, and Overtone Singing and combination of those.

We guide participants to delve into their own creativity, learning or further exploring specific techniques while immersing themselves in the unique charm of the island and the alternative way of life it can offer.

Things you need to know:

Workshops and Retreats run for 7 days or weekends.

Dedicated studio space is provided for both.

Accommodation is included only for Retreats.

Courses run once a week on a specific day for 6 months or more, from about November to April.

Our Philosophy

At  Aegina Retreats, our goal is to offer you an immersive experience centred on unlocking your creativity so that you can express it freely. We believe in connecting with nature to inspire and nourish the inner self. Our community values are about respecting personal space and time, and fostering a warm and secure environment for the exploration of your creative potential, and a daily rhythm that embraces your individual needs .

Set against the backdrop of the welcoming island ofAegina, we hope to provide you with a all round holistic experience. The island offers an array of additional activities and opportunities for exploration, as well as delicious food for all tastes: fresh seafood, locally sourced fruit, vegetable and dairy products as well as meat for those who prefer it. Historical sites dot the landscape, adding a layer of cultural richness to your stay.

All these elements come together to create a unique space-time capsule, allowing you to escape from your everyday routine and spend a transformative week in a world where nature, self-discovery and creativity intersect.

Risk of Fire

It is forbidden to bring any type of fire into the studio spaces. Incense,  lighted candles and smoking are not allowed indoors.

Do not comment or ask questions about other participants’ work. Respect every person's right to be in their own process. If you should have any questions or if the need for support should arise, please turn to one of the teachers.

The time schedule during which we can receive visiting guests in the course premises is to be found on the noticeboard in the art studios.
